WEIGHBRIDGE
Oldfields operate a weighbridge at each of Masterton's Waingawa and Te Ore Ore depots.
As well as providing accurate load weights for our own internal operations, both weighbridges are open for commercial or public weighing. Public and commercial sales of metal and aggregates are based on pre and post-loading vehicle weights, meaning accurate billing for purchased materials.
The larger weighbridge at the Waingawa is capable of accurately weighing up to 30,000 tonnes, with an accuracy of 10kg. An operator-less weighbridge system means Oldfields can offer a 24 hour - 7 day a week service to authorised customers. General public weighing is available during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning. 
Authorised customers and transport operators are issued
with security and entry tags for after-hours access to
the Waingawa Depot and the Weighbridge system.

requiring post-load weight confirmation, a logging
operation requiring pre-process weights of logs,
or you just need to confirm your new boat falls
within the allowable weight class, one of Oldfields weighbridges is available to help you.
Additional services are available for specialised weighing, such as automated transaction summary faxing. This function has proved useful for stock, fodder, and seed transportation, when load weights form the basis of payment or revenue.
The second weighbridge situated at the Te Ore Ore Depot, operates during normal business hours, Monday to Friday.
