OLDFIELD CADETS SCHEMES

1. Operators Cadet Scheme

Since 2006 Oldfields has run a successful Cadets Program.  The eight month program beginning in January and ending in September is hands-on experience in the real world.  The Cadets are not only trained by the experts but paid to learn on the job.

As a Cadet you will experience working in these areas...

  • Sealing

  • Construction

  • Minor construction

  • Road maintenance

  • Earthmoving

  • Ready mix concrete

  • Crushing

...and get the chance to work towards nationally
recognized qualifications—National Certificates.

If you are a school leaver, have partial or full drivers licence, have a reasonable level of fitness and communication skills and like operating machines or driving 'big toys' this could be for you.
